Got a quote from a chartered civil engineer that was recommended by a few people I know for site support on our new build. I’ve attached the quote, €3500 + VAT.
Is the quote a bit expensive or is it ok with all the deliverables and number of site visits?

    Thanks

    Hey BigGreen

The quote looks reasonable for the inspections and certification of the various stages of the build. Typical costs do vary anywhere from 2k to 5k.

Who is acting as the PSDP. Is this your architect

    Thanks for your reply Delfagio.

It will be the main contractor, they designed the house.

Not a good idea. Eng/arch should be separate from construction team.

I'm happy enough with the contractor, chatted to a friends who used them for the role and no issues.
