hi all, not sure if this is the right place to post this but i couldnt find anywhere else to do it. i have in my possession a rare, limited edition photo of phil lynott and rory gallagher playing on the same stage in punchestown 1982 photographed by colm henry and signed by him as well. its still in its original plastic package too, i have seen some of these being sold at about $1000 and some for pennies, im wondering does anyone know what i might possibly have and if it may be worth anything to anyone? photos below. the back of the image reads "this print is a genuine limited edition print. it has been taken from the original negative which was exposed in the 1980's. printed, numbered, signed and framed by the photographer colm henry"
    cheers :)

probably not of assistance to you, but a print run of 1100 does not strike me as very 'limited'.

its just i have seen this and it struck me as odd, the price tag on it is insane and i seem to have an original one taken from the day in 1982.

Like all these things, it's worth what someone will pay for it.

The price I see is what is being asked. The price you need to find out the price for which it sells, if it does.

On another note .... nice mug! :D

Thrown in €107 for shipping! That site has some seriously high priced photos, up to €9k from a quick glance. Presume extremely renowned photographers.

    go have it appraised

there is a memorabilia auction every now and then for rock and roll stuff, find the people that organise it they will be able to give you a good idea of what its worth

i recently reframed a massive darkroom print signed by terry oneil, of bowie

when i looked they being sold for about 30k dollars. my customer bought froma major gallery for considerably less

the framing place in phibsboro have a load of colm henry prints in stock. i may be back up there tomorrow and should be able to confirm, but they're selling framed 8x10s for about €60 IIRC.
