Virgin Media Contract & Lies

    I rang up Virgin Media about 6 months ago to cancel my contract. To my surprise they told me that I still have over 8 months left on my contract. Today, I found out that I'm not under any contract with them since January 2017.

    Thats over 6 months of fees that they have unfairly (or illegally) received off me..

    Has this happened to anyone else?

    They admitted their fault but they won't refund me.. Instead they are offering a 50% reduction for the next 6 months if I sign up for 12 months.
