    Planning has just been lodged for a large office / apartment development opposite the Applegreen. See link below to images:

    It was a quick post at the end of my lunchbreak! The intention was to get a discussion going.

    All looks a bit bland from the images on the architects website, probably doesn't help that the context is all wrong and makes it look like the development is in the middle of the countryside rather than on the edge of a large urban area.

    The corner feature could easily be few storeys taller to really address the corner and make it a landmark on the approach into Swords.

    Seems to be a large amount of office space in the main block which will be good for jobs and shows confidence in the development of Swords as a commercial centre.
