New Boiler and Plummber

    Hey,

    We have a Sirrus Radiant boiler and from a couple of searches I gather it’s muck!! I think it’s on the way out as have had issues with water temperature fluctuations in the shower and taps. The timer isn’t working now as heating is not coming on or switching off when the timers set.

    I tried to get it serviced a few months back but the guy told me he can’t get parts so would be risk if anything went wrong with it during the service....didn’t get it done and now I reckon we’d be better just cutting our losses and getting a new boiler. Have been in our place 9 years so don’t think we’re eligible for the grant either! Knowing my luck it’d go on Xmas eve!

    So now, I’m looking for someone in the know to tell me a decent boiler brand and someone who can install it for a reasonable price?! In the north Dublin area

    While you might get an answer here. It is a very busy time, so I would also recommend that you get on the phone. It mightn't be easy to get someone before Christmas.

    Thanks Wearb....it’s really the recommendation of who to ring that I need! Ive been burnt in the past by tradesmen and was hoping to go on a personal recommendation instead :)
