    Hi there,
I'm in my new job a month. I get paid every fortnight. For my first paycheck I didn't have my p45 in time but I give it to the accounts last Monday. Just received my payslip and I'm was still emergency taxed.

Do I have to do something else?

Payroll office might not have received it in time before they processed the payroll. Ask them.

Its also best if you log into your own account at Revenue.ie and update your employer records there. However, at this stage of the year (week 48/52) Revenue might not be issuing new cut offs & credits statements. In this case, once the new year comes and you get your P60, log into your Revenue account and apply for a P21 balancing statement and you will get a refund of any taxes if you have overpaid.

use link below to log into your Revenue account or create one if you haven't already done so.
