I run a small business with turnover under VAT threshold. I usually work for private individuals.
Now invoicing another business, I want to avoid any issue re confusion over VAT.
What should my invoice say. I generally include my tax number (its not a vat number) on invoices but should I note something like "This is not a VAT invoice" or "NO VAT CHARGED"

Yep just say not a vat invoice, and don't charge vat!
