Clearing out a house

Hi I'm new to Boards.Ie but I'm hoping to do renovations to my house (it's an old house and needs a lot of work) in the new year. First of any idea how much it would cost to get someone to pull out/take out and dump an old kithchen and built in units in a living room and bedroom and an old bathroom. Just a ball park figure. It's a terraced 3 bed one bathroom house?
    Thanks
    Finn28

Hard to say.... really depends on the amount of stuff.
There are guys that will come up in one of those big trucks with the cages and clear it out and dump it for you.
Make sure they have a permit.
I think Keywaste are one of the big firms that do it (although you might at least have to leave it in the garden for them)
There are smaller firms that will do the whole lot.
e.g. Ive used ballybrack waste in my old place (incase you are out that way).

This is usually one of the stages where people can save money.

You could get a skip in and strip these things out yourself.

Then have that money to spend later on “nice” things you think you can’t afford

Yeah ideally I should try and do it myself, I need to rope in friends and family to help. Thanks for the tip.

I was in a similar situation a few years ago. Bought a house and was gonna have to gut it completely.

Got a builders skip, with high side to it and the front of it opens so you can easily use a wheelbarrow. I can't remember the prices but it only took me the weekend to pull everything out.

Oh ya get a wheelbarrow too.
