Do these systems work effectively to reduce condensation?

They are supposed to drive the moist air out of the house by pumping in fresh air into the landing ceiling?

    Yip....they work alright.

    PIV - Positive Input Ventilation.

If you setup an inline fan to blow in some fresh air would it work to improve humidity in a house with double glazed and standard air vents

Or is there other considerations ?

I would always prefer to use a MEV system rather than a PIV one.
Reason being I believe it's better to extract the moisture laden air through dedicated ducting rather than forcing it through gaps & cracks in the structure.

On an existing building , 3 bed-semi with vents and double glazed

    Is PIV any good?
