    Hiya,

I need to get the 2 doors reversed on my Samsung fridge freezer. In all fairness I'm bit scared to attempt doing it myself as I've never done anything similar before and I don't want to botch it...
I got a quote from Powercity where I bought it, 25 euros call out plus 40 euros for the actual job.
Is that a reasonable price or should I look around? What kind of tradesman would do something like that?

    Thanks!

It's the type of job that almost any handy competent DIY'er can do.

It's a piece of cake doing it. Don't pay someone!

I changed the door on my last fridge freezer. the instructions were in the manual. was very straightforward.

a little tip when changing doors is lay the unit on its back with some pillows etc under it to keep it at about 30 degree angle, be careful not to damage the pipework. this will make fitting the hinges and the doors a lot easier. when fitted let the appliance stand for some time before plugging in again

You can 100% do this yourself.

After you do it you'll feel embarrassed that you ever considered paying someone.
