Dead Cambridge Soundbar

    Hi folks,
I sent a mail to sales@rs last week but didn't hear back.

I bought the Cambridge TVB2 from you last year (July 2016 - via boards.ie).
Have been very happy with it until it started acting up a couple of weeks ago.
Any time playback was paused or turned off, the soundbar would reset volume to 0 and sub bass to -5.
Seems to be a known issue after some googling.

Over the weekend it got worse and it's not turning on at all now for me. I can see the power light on the sub, but the led display on the bar is gone. Have tried plugging it out and also holding down the power button in attempt to reset it.

I understand there's a manufacturer guarantee on it. Can I talk to somebody about getting it repaired/replaced?

    Thanks.

    Hi Fuse,

its a cracking & really sexy soundbar.

I understand that Cambridge have a software upgrade for the TVB2 - if you drop Stephen a line at service@richersounds.ie and copy this post into it he will arrange a collection of your unit ( hopefully you still have the box / packaging??) and we will swap it out for a new unit for you.

Thanks again and keep me posted,

    ATVB,

Thanks for the swift reply & resolution.

Unfortunately no I threw away the box this summer... But I'll bubble wrap it well for collection.

    Thanks again
