Hi there, first time posting here.

I have a 2007 Ford Focus with Keyless Entry and Ignition. Lately it's been acting up. First it started with the door as it wouldn't open keyless which I put up with as i can just press the button on the remote fob but lately when i sit in the car it's very slow to recognise the fob and might take up to 10-20 seconds before i can turn the ignition.

Changed the battery in the remote twice but still no good still experiencing this problem. Am i dealing with a faulty key fob or is it something else i'm dealing with?

(Lost spare key fob years ago so I can't use that one :/ )
