BMW 316d SE Touring 131

    Sorry if this is an obvious question. On a look out for an estate and spotted the above. Although it’s a 316 it’s down as a 2.0l? So what’s the significance of a 316/318/320 if they’re all a 2 l engine. Is it trim? Thought that’s what the SE was.

    They would have been all 2.0 litre back then but with different power output. The 316d had 115bhp, 318d had 143bhp and 320d had 184bhp. I'd avoid a 316d to be honest, they wouldn't pull the skin off a sausage.

    When you put it in black and white like that I’ll be avoiding. Would be a bit of a downgrade from the 272bhp i’d be moving from. Growing family. Can get away with one car seat but not two. It’s a pity it was well spec’d.

    Jesus yeah.

    There was a nice 2012/2013 330d Touring in Beshoff's recently for 27k but looks like it's sold now.
