    Hi
I have a 2005 Audi A4, 2 years ago the Link Pipe on the EGR valve completely sheared off on one of the end flanges, now the replacement link pipe has sheared at the baffle in the middle of the pipe.
Can anybody yell me if this is normal or if not tell me at least why this might be occurring.

normal enough on these would of been a common enough issue a few years ago

Thanks enumbers, purchased a new one from Audi, any idea why this happens, could it be from the kick from the engine block on start up?

always assumed it was just fatigue due to vibration over time on a very light piece of steel
