Buying used car in December?

    Hi,
    We’ve been looking at Qashqais for a while and spotted a few used that we are going to take a look at. What’s people’s general opinion on buying used at the end of the year? I’ve read differing opinions from ‘it’s a good month as dealers may come a bit lower to meet end of year targets’ to ‘leave it as there will be trade ins on the market in January’.

    We’d be looking at a 141-151 likely. So what do you lot on here think? Does it make much of difference?

    Unless you need a car right now then you’re better waiting till mid January or February. Some people will say cars will be priced at 2018 levels already but they can often be the cars that are sitting around months. They’re really pushing new Qashqais at the moment so they might get some reasonably priced trade ins against them.

    Yeah we’re not in much of a rush to be honest. Can hold out til then and see what the deal is. Cheers!
