What 4WD to buy?

Currently in the market for a 4WD midsized jeep (not commercial). Budget is €25,000 and buying used. I am having difficulty deciding on what to pick so hoping any advice would be appreciated on what would be the best car in this segment. Looking at the likes of a 2014/2015 Mitsubishi Outlander but very wary of the PSA 2.2 HDI unit in that car. Looking for something that would be modest on the tax so a larger jeep such as a landcruiser or pajero would cost too much to tax for me. Reason for a 4WD and a jeep is because I need the ground clearance and traction to launch and load a boat into the water.

    Honda CR-V

For €25k you can get well equipped, 4wd 2.2 i-DTEC.
Very nice, comfy and reliable car. Tax only €390 if I'm right.
Probably not very able offroader, but for your needs (higher ground clearance and 4wd to pull a boat) will do perfectly.

A Kia Sorento maybe. A 2015 or 16 Suzuki Vitara they are always good at going off road and are 4 wheel drive.

    Live long and Prosper

    Peace and long life.

Maybe go to the UK and get a Mitsubishi Outlander Hybrid (cargiant have several available). I reckon you'd get this one on the road here for around €20k as the VRT is very low (around €2,200 I think).
