Hello I have been resident in NI since birth but my job was in the south as I am of sick I receive my sick money from the south. I applied for PIP(new dla) and was awarded enough points for mobility and the care component but they won't pay me any money for the care component as I receive illness benefit in the south they seem to think the south is responsible for paying me disability money which I think is incorrect has anyone been in this situation before

Didn't think you could get 2 payments in two separate states ,.

It's not 2 payments in 2 states in the north you can get the pip payments along with there equivalent to the south illness benefit the north calls it esa so if I was getting my sick money from the north (esa) instead of the south (illness benefit)I would be get the full payment if pip along with it but because my sick money comes from the south there refusing to pay me
