Car parking close to city centre

Hi. Thinking of going on road trip tomorrow and am looking for a handy and not too expensive parking place close to the city centre.

I looked at old threads but wanted some current information. I saw that the train station and some places along Patrick's Quay offer reasonable rates? Is that still the case or anywhere else?

Edit - Coming in from Blackpool direction if that makes any difference.

Just looking at the prices there..wow! No wonder people give out about parking prices in the city. They are mental. Glad I have a residents permit for 20 quid a year...

People I know usually park in the car park in Patrick’s Quay or Carroll’s Quay (prepay online). So they are probably some of the cheapest.

Up to 3 euro per hour for parking in the city center.

As mentioned, Q-park do some "deals" if you prebook. 11 euro for 5 hours parking, so if you're planning on spending between 3-5 hours in the City it'll save ya few euro.

Thanks lads. Went with Patrick's Quay car park in the end. €8 daily rate and close to the centre.
