Boerboel Breeders In Ireland

Does anyone on here know of any reputable Boerboel breeders in Ireland? I know there are some very good breeders in the UK and I have no problem sourcing a pup from one of them but I'd like to see what Ireland has to offer first.

    Thanks for any help.

Do your research on this breed very very carefully, they suffer a lot of health issues and they really need an owner experienced in large stubborn dogs!:D Not to mention deep pockets to feed them!

I would also be interested in knowing if there are breeders in Ireland. I am from South Africa (Home of the Boerboel) and grew up with them. I did see last year there were some being advertised on Donedeal but have not seen any since

Just looked up Boerboels as I'd never heard of them.

As a matter of interest, these are not specifically on the restricted breeds list, would they be lumped in as a strain of bull mastiff or do they avoid the list?

There is another thread on here titled below Boerboels (Any owners out there)

The question was raised around the list and it seems like they currently avoid the list :)

That's cause the list was out together by people that wouldn't know a Boerboel from a sheepdog.

(Not saying that Boerboels should be on it, just that the list makes no sense)
