    That laptop will clearly do what you want but are we taking full HD video? How long are the clips in general? What games are hoping to be played?

    not sure about clip lenght , but yeah full hd and prob some 4K too , game would be minecraft , the sims ect , nothing too taxing

    Get an i7 model as it will make a good difference in editing (make sure it's an i7 HQ - not an i7 'U' model). Something like this.

    If you can live without an SSD this is a lot cheaper, graphics card is not as good but still very good for stuff like Sims 4 at ultra.
