Brands that have Irish outfits tend to care as they cant apply a paddy tax. Those that dont rarely stop it.

From time to time I run into UK companies who have the option to select a country in the online shopping cart, and take my payment, only to hand it back saying "we don't post to Ireland". Sloppy.

Never once had any issues and id do the vast majority of my shopping online using a mix of parcel motel and parcel wizard.

Using an Irish credit card can be what's causing hassle.

    Use PayPal or Revolut.

The most recent time it happened to me, I had used Paypal. With an American default address, no less (I started the account when I was in America and they won't let me change the address on it). Never a problem when using PayPal except for that site. I'd even ordered from them before. Must be new shopping cart software.

I have used the an post service recently with no problem. Only cost 3.95 as I picked up at post office. You can opt either for delivery to your house.

Yes I know that. The point I'm making is the an post one gives you an actual Uk address + then they work with royal mail to get it delivered to Ireland. So better chance of getting it.

It's happened me a few times lately, where the orders wont deliver to PM or PW yet they will take the AP address. Im not sure if its because they have twigged the first 2 addresses as northern ireland forwarders or not but it's crappy none the less.
