    Hi all,
Total novice here so please excuse my ignorance.

I don’t have sky anymore but I have a Free sat box downstairs on one of the TVs that I think is working thru the sky box in the attic.

I have saorview channels in my bedroom th but would like to get bbc and other Free sat English channels on this tv also. If u buy another free sat box is it hard to set up? Like does it need to feed into the attic and connect to the dish/Ariel?
Oh is an electrician but unfortunately not knowledgeable about this end, but could pr Baby figure out the wiring setup if I gave him instruction.

For the UK channels you will need a feed from your satellite dish to your TV (no involvement with Sky is needed).
Some TVs can take a direct feed. For others you will need to buy a box (like the freesat one you have) to decode the signal.

If you post your TV model number I can check.

    Thanks.
My newest TV is a Walker WP-4K5517, this is set up in the room with the free sat box though so if this tv can ork without the box (for free sat channels) i could try move it to another room as my other tv's are older and pretty sure they don't pick up the free sat channels alone.

According to the PowerCity website, that TV has a built in Satellite Tuner. You can connect the cable that comes from your satellite dish directly into the back of the TV - no need for any set top boxes. However you do need a satellite feed to the bedroom. You will need a separate satellite feed for each TV that you want to receive the BBC channels. This means that if you want 4 TVs to receive the Satellite signal, you will need 4 cables running from the LNB on your satellite dish.

Sounds like an adventure to the attic is in store for my OH this weekend. Wires everywhere…should be fun!
