My son has this pc Dell Optiplex 960 smt Intel E8400 3.00GHz. 4gb ram, 320 HDD Windows 7 SP1 64bit Integrated/On-Board Graphics, the monitor he has at moment is blurry it is connected by VGA, he would like to get a better one, would i be better adding a graphics card for a better monitor, now he wont be playing top end games ,so not looking for high end, something with 1gb memory, maybe second hand around €50, wouldn't know what i should be looking for, so any advice would be appreciated.

Are you sure the monitor is set to the correct resolution in Windows? e.g. is it a 1280x1024 monitor set to 800x600 by mistake?

Or are you saying the games look blurry? Because you'd want a newer machine to fix that - the PC is a low-end model from 2009 and just underpowered for 3D graphics.

He Dont really play games more for social media/home work studies, the option too play old games might be nice, 3d graphics whats that ? but its more for a better viewing experience, its a old monitor too but when you unplug power cord, plug back in seems to correct for a while, it wouldn't be unwatchable but its still not right.
