    Hi,

    See my current situation..

I have a sat cable coming down into wall, I then connect it to a joiner(http://www.freetv.ie/f-joiners-1s/) and then run another f cable out other side and into tv(that cable is f connector to male coax (http://www.freetv.ie/male-coaxial-to-f-connector-cable/)

I want to put a wall plate on the wall.
Something along the lines of this (http://www.satworld.ie/single-f-type-wall-plate.html)

But if I take off the joiner, the cable is so short coming out of wall, I am unsure whether it would even make the back of the wall plate.. I have tried pulling it, it didnt work.

It would be very difficult to make a small extension in between(I have tried when tired to hook up to another wall plate..)

Anyone any thoughts as to a nice way to do this so I can stop having a hole in my wall :)

    Buy this:

Take off the connector at the back so there is just a hole.

    Feed your cable through.

Connect up and screw the plate to the box.

    Thanks Chris,

my issue is that the cable coming from wall is too short I feel(If you study the pic I attached) It wont reach the middle of that gang I feel..

I was going to put on one of those diplexers anyway, now was looking at just a single one(f connector), but I still feel the problem is that the cable is too short from the wall.

Have the white cable coming out of the hole and leave the connections in the box

    Hi Chris,

I don't follow you at all. The white cable will go into the front of the new plate.. the cable coming from wall(brown)is very short.. In the pic that's going into a coupler and ther other side to the cable.. I want to remove the coupler and only have the cable into the back of the plate.. But I don't feel it will stretch..

sorry If I am missing something silly here, but I am not following you at all
