    Hi all,
We have a pressurised water system in our house, 6 years old. Pump comes on whenever we use water think this is normal. Of late pump coming on every 10/20 minutes even if no water being used. Have a triple coil cylinder which takes a back boiler, solar panels and an oil burner. Can't find any leak, reduced press to 1.5bar to see if this would stop it but no good. All ideas welcome.

    Thanks

Water could be leaking out through the pressure relief valve or temp relief valve. This should be piped outside so you probably won’t even see it happening. It’s a sign that something is wrong.
Apart from that, you have a back boiler connected to your pressurised cylinder. This is a big no no and absolutely forbidden under regulations. It’s hoghly dangerous. Get a plumber in who understands how these systems work as your original plumber obviously didn’t
