Recycling ink cartridges for charity ?

Does anyone know of a charity which takes old ink cartridges ? I know a number of charities have discontinued this.

I tried in vain a few months ago to find a home for lot of full cartridges. In the end I put them in a collection bin for same in Harvey Norman. Apart from the ink there is some value in the metal parts in them.
