    Hello

Does anybody know if this exists? I dont know if I called them correctly but I am looking for venetiant style blinds that when closed will block the light.

If so are they any effective?

    Thanks

You can get Venetian blinds that don't light through them but light still gets in around the outside of the blind..

We got such blinds for the children's rooms but ended up having to add blackout curtains to fully block out light.

Easily solved if you add a timber guide to each side

Thanks both, we have rolling blackout blinds at the moment so if we don't get more light than now, we are ok.
