Is there a connector/splitter that will take 2 cables in and 1 output i.e sat. and saorview to cut down on cables into room. The ones available have 1 input split to 2 output or can they work in reverse.

These can be used both ways.

Thank you Gerry. Had a look at this and it appears I will have to split it again for sat and saorview to connect to tv.

Yeah that's the idea. One at each end to merge and split the signals. Obviously you use an outdoor version as required.

So what I have to do is take the signal from the sat and saorview and connect into the combiner then run 1 cable into the room and then then use another combiner to reverse to 2 cables to connect to combibox. Which is then connected to the tv vie a hdmi cable/scart.

At the TV end you can also use a splitter wallplate instead of a splitter for a tidier install

    example - https://www.freesat.ie/product-info.php?pid701.html
