Hi I need help with my alarm, I have called out my phone company but they say an electrician needs to fix the cable inside the house to my main phone/broadband socket. My problem is my alarm does not call my phone anymore. I just want opinions as not to be messed around. An electrician has belled out the cable from outer connection box to phone socket but says he can't see the problem and that I need an alarm company. What can I do as I'm getting annoyed thanks for your time

Did you upgrade to Fibre perhaps?

I'm fairly certain that the communicator in the hkc sends message in a text format I think this facility is no longer possible over a landline Only solution would be a mobile phone network card.
