got a letter from revenue

    Hey all


    Got letter from revenue/customs saying a package was interested by them and to provide them with proof of price to see if i needed to pay vat/excise etc. It was an expensive piece of kit but got it waaay below norm price (worth 100 got for 18) . I immediately emailed them with proof of price (PayPal statement) but that was 2 weeks ago and no sign of it to be "released". What's the turn round time by them?

    It's normally pretty quick. Did you give them proof of the full cost, including delivery charges?

    Seems like a great bargain. Maybe they don't believe you. Give them a bell on the number they gave you on the letter.

    Gave them what PayPal have which was cost plus free delivery. If they don't believe what's the point in ever providing proof lol very kafkaesque
