I am considering going for all in four implants and wondered if anyone here had done the same, we're they went and what the cost was. Also of they were happy with results.

The main worry is that the implants will be lost the way the natural teeth were....there's a real & substantial risk of peri-implantitis, if you have a history of severe periodontitis.
Results & costs vary depending on amount of remaining bone, need for grafting, level of oral hygiene, amount of resorption post-extraction, lip line, bite type & strength, surrounding cheek& tongue musculature, any medical issues or medications......no one case is identical to another.
A combined consultation/treatment with a periodontist & a prosthodontist will give the best possible results. Full mouth rehabilitation like this is usually specialist territory.
