Hey, My folks want to get multiroom so we can upgrade to multiroom with free installation as we have a second box and just need a viewing card or for €75 we can get two sky Q boxes. I've never used nor seen it so wondering if its worth the extra money?
Other thing is the second box currently only has one input. I presume this just means recording is limited to what you are watching on that box. I suppose if we were to go with Sky Q they would sort that issue. Thoughts appreciated as always.

I’ve had no end of problems since I changed to Sky Q a year ago. I’ve had sky engineers out 3 times and still getting the odd problem. I wish I never upgraded. Just letting you know how I got on. The only plus i have experienced is you can record 4 programmes and watch a 5th

Have had the 2TB box with one mini since the start. I've had to reboot the mini 2 times that I can remember. Saying that I always leave the mini unplugged when not in use. It's a good system in my opinion but I wouldn't pay extra for it (install costs).
