Fair amount of decent spots om sale for Day 2 such as Munich, Brussels, Cologne, Paris, Stuttgart for €4.99. Mid week of course. If you had a Tues - Wed free you'd be mad not to do Munich for €10.

Was the sale yesterday for flights during January, yeah? I'm looking to book flights to Paris in December, on a Thursday. I'm wondering if I should hold out for a few days...

Got return flights to Paris in January....a tenner!! It nearly costs more for the Luas in and out of town!! DE-LIGHT-ED.

ETA: Just booked them this second!

It's worth remembering for this and future deals, that whilst Ryanairs cheapest offers ex Ireland are usually to Northern Europe, for those looking to go further afield there are some excellent connections via Charleroi to Spain, Portugal, Morocco etc.. all of which fall into the 4.99 bracket.

The usual adrenaline pumping caveats of self connecting apply i.e. hand luggage only, minimum 3 hour window, stick to first wave of departures ex Dublin etc... I have personally done this traveling to Israel with Ryanair for both legs via CRL and it was seamless (or maybe just lucky)

Monday was 15% off December, today is Jan from 4.99. Definately hold out would be my opinion

Ive been keeping an eye on flights I want for next years holidays, dublin-carcassone mid june. I noticed today that they're gone up by 400 euros! a bit annoying as I was hoping to buy them this friday when I get paid.

anyone have any thoughts on whether its a temporary blip while the sales are on or should I bite the bullet now?

    Why?
Are you expecting that with patience Ryanair will pay passengers to take a flight based on the observed current trend?

Not sure of your point here. My opinion was that between now and cyber Monday there will be another December reduction. Load factors particularly mid week in early to mid December will be dire

I hadn't seen skyscanner before - outstanding stuff, It looks like I can actually fly to within 20 minutes of my end destination If I go via aerlingus on a slightly earlier flight.

    much appreciated.

azair.eu is another good site for Ryanair connection possibilities.

With the Ryanair link in the OP you can just change the number at the end of the URL for day 3 and day 4 of the sale. They have different flight periods.

    This promotion is very disappointing.

    This promotion is very disappointing.

I thought the day 2 & 4 promotions were brilliant. Lots of €5 midweek flights including Gatwick are hard to come by in recent years...

I booked return flights to Faro yesterday for the end of May 2018 for less than 100 quid each, that’s the cheapest I’ve ever gotten them!

Day 2 was decent but didn't suit me dates wise, I'll admit that. The other days have been very lackluster for me. Was hoping for something major tonight.

Very true.. based on earlier in the week I expected something bigger for Friday. Unless they’re holding out for Monday......

Agree bit of a brutal sale. Fares are low but they seem to have found five different ways of saying we've 9.99 seats (bar one 4.99 day). Today is 20% off with fares from 9.99 but fares have been 9.99 for a month.

Though as I type I realise I'm complaining about flying to the UK or Europe for less than the true cost of the tax alone..... They ruined my expectations with those 1cent fares years ago - long time since we've seen them!

Man U playing at home, airlines aren't stupid - they're not going to drop prices for dates like that where demand is already going to be high.

If it's not the football your're trying to get to, you could fly out the 4th and back the 5th for €59 return for two.

It is football yes, but still announcing a sale when it's really not...meh
