Looking for recommendations for a phone for a 13 year old- not crazy money:). Also looking for recommendations for mobile providers with good data allowances - was thinking of tesco mobile.

There's plenty of decent deals on SIM only plans which include everything for about 20 a month. Post your budget and we'll point you in the right direction in terms of a phone

I would agree with those definitely. The G5 is slightly over your budget in Argos for €179 (but being able to bring it back to Argos is a bonus)

The E4 Plus is exactly on budget from Amazon (also relatively easy to return by free postage) https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0711SHYS7/

Both prices could change this week for the sales.

I would definitely go for an unlocked phone as it will be easier to change between plans when the prices change.

Lycamobile seems to be the best value. Some people have issues ringing and/or texting with some numbers. Making or receiving. But Whatsapp could be used as an alternative then.
