Identify mountains/location

    A little off topic perhaps but given knowledge of mountains that folk here have wonder if anyone can identify where this image is from? May not be an actual place mind you - railway poster by Jack Merriott

    Suspect it’s either from Kerry - Gap of Dunloe and the Upper Lake, or Ballaghbeama and Glencar - or possible somewhere in Connemara. If it’s Kerry, suspect it’s not an actual representation but rather an interpretation of what it’s like.

    Either way, nice poster.

    View of Gap of Dunloe taken from the eastern side of looscaunagh lake (between ladies view and molls gap) would be my guess.

    It's a good one...but don't think Looscanagh has any islands.
