    Any advice on keeping concrete ones clean have ones built with blocks can’t keep clean, also some baths very hard keep green if them
    Also any advice on keeping from freezing over winter

    Bluestone over winter when no stock out.
    Desert spoon full melted in hot water and mix well in trough.

    I use the bluestone alright does fairly clean it, have used it twice since April and out more in today

    Turn the water off to troughs if a valve is available and remove bung. Lost a few concrete drinkers the time of the big freeze. Heard a lump of timber works alright.

    Lime to clean, also could cover them no sunlight would have no algae growth

    Lime or bluestone(copper sulphate) either will clean the troughs. You still need to clean out 1-2 times per year.
