Condenser boiler problem

    Hello,

Im hoping someone can help. I had to drain and refill a radiator last week. Once I did that, rebalanced the rads etc and put in an inhibitor as a precaution (the water from the rad was not too bad).

Anyway, since then, when the boiler is running (Vokera 32He condenser boiler), it cuts out every minute or so. However, that is just for about 2 seconds at which point it starts up again. This will happen when it is at temperature but also when heating up. For example, when at 70 degrees, it will cut out for 2 seconds, I still hear a noise, the temp may drop to 69/68 and then the boiler kicks in again.

Its almost like the autofill is kicking in, drawing in cold water, which drops the temp and then starts again, but that does not explain why it cuts out in the first place.

The pressure is OK, 1.5 bar and rises to just under 2 as the water heats up.

I have contacted a few local boiler repair people to get a service (not due till Jan, but now have a reason to have it early!) but the earliest appointment I can get is 2 weeks time!

From what I have described, is there an obvious/easy solution? Is it even safe to run the boiler now?

    Thanks,
    Brik

    Sorry for delayed reply.

It seems to be the flame that cuts out. I have a video of it but cannot work out how to link it to this post.
