Photos on school website

This might seem like a silly, even paranoid, question, but in the times that we live in one can't be too safe. Is it legal to put photos on your school website of an event in your school that was also attended by students from another school? I assume there's no issue with putting your own school's students (as there are hundreds if not thousands of photos already on it) but if students from outside your school are also included does that breach any law or recommendation? I don't want anybody to contact the school and say that I've broken some child protection legislation in doing so. Thanks.

If the children are not named and in a large group, you should be ok, but just check with the other school what their policy is.

It's ill advised unless it's a large group and part of the host schools function
