    edX offers several online beginning, intermediate, and advanced free classes to learn the R statistical programme from universities and Microsoft. Most are self-paced and offer practical problems to work through while you progressively increase your knowledge and skills.

    Introductory/basics:
    • Data Science: R Basics taught by Harvard University. Starts 4 December 2017.
    • Introduction to R for Data Sciences taught by Microsoft. Ongoing self-paced.
    Followed by many intermediate and advanced classes, including Analyzing Big Data for Microsoft R.
