Been keen not to buy an SUV till I saw one of these.
Have to admit the interior isnt as nice as the Volvo XC60 ( just happened to get a chance to sit in both back to back )

I imagine I'd get a great deal on one for the new year - but would I regret it?
What do the folks here think ?

It's too new to have many owners on here I'd think.

Did you check youtube for reviews?

Change your username to RobAnAlfa and get it for free :pac:
Who can honestly answer if you'd regret it? How long would you be keeping it for?
If you intend to keep it till it gives up the ghost then resale won't matter whereas if you want to PCP it then I think you will need to get your figures out and see.
It's a brand new offer from AR so you can't pinpoint what sort of resale you will be having.
The car itself looks fantastic I think and certainly catches ones eye and the engine choices are spot on.
Which version would you be planning? I'd stick to the turbo petrol version if it were my money.
AR I see are having a test drive event on the 25th at the radisson St.Helens, maybe pop over and see.

Sat in one in Italy when I visited the Alfa Museum during the summer. They are very nice and well built.

One advantege will be the rarity. Can't see them selling in great numbers. Alfas in general don't appear to be selling well in Ireland. Lots of cars that have been for sale for some time and you rarely see a Guilia on the road despite the great reviews.

I think you have to consider the biggest cost when buying a new car - depreciation. Being an Alfa, be prepared for that to be more than its rivals.

I reckon the Guilia Veloce will be a great buy used in the future and be well priced. I hope to get one over the next few years and will most likely have to import from the UK.
