I had a slip and a fall in a local bar 3 weeks ago. I slipped on a wet floor in the bat area. It was 2am and I had a bout 4 drinks ( wasn't drunk) so I was embarrassed and never alerted staff. When I got to my feet I knew I had hurt myself and the following morning I went to a&e. They told me my x-ray was clear and it was probably a sprain. A week after the fall I was in agony so I had another x-ray which showed some abnormality and had to have a repeat x-ray 10 days later. The 3rd x-ray showed a break to the prox head of fibula. The a&e said they must of misses the break on the first x-ray. They said it's to late to put a cast on and il be grand. But I'm in agony.. would I have a chance to get compensation off the pub I fell in ?
