    Hey Folks,

I'm hoping you can help with some advice. My sister is looking to get a laptop for her 12 year old. I'm wondering what the best bang for buck is. It'd most likely be used for light gaming, YouTube and so on. Budget is tight at between €400-500.

    Many thanks.

Depends on what types of games really. For most casual games a regular laptop will do fine. At 400-500 quid I'd say you should aim for something with an i3 or if you're lucky an i5. It will handle all the tasks with breeze.

If they play triple-A titles with high-end graphics, I'd recommend a gaming laptop really which would cost a bit more.
