    Hi
Matrix radiator in my Toyota Yaris is broken. (I think thats what it's called! The thing providing heat inside the car!)

Does anyone know of a mechanics open on a Saturday that I could bring it to? Preferably reasonable distance from Tallaght.

I tried Squarefit in Tallaght but they don't repair them, they sent me to Mactronic also in tallaght but they don't open on Saturdays.
    Thanks

Changing a heater matrix is a nasty and expensive job. You won't find many to take it on on a Saturday

I was quoted €350 in Mactronics which is expensive for a 00 car but it's too cold and the windscreen is too fogged up lately so I have to pay it. I just can't go without the car in the working week!

Yes thank you I know this, hence the €350 price. Its just a pity that I cant find anywhere to do it on a Saturday. I know its a big job but that's big money too

The job demands it, it is one of those jobs every mechanic dreads doing its such a pain. You would pay a premium on top of that for a Saturday job anyway.

You could maybe Youtube it and try save the 350 yourself? If you are mechanically minded its just nuts and screws really.
    Coolant change also.
    Does the car have Aircon?
