As title states never actually done it before, but atm my main drive is only 100gb ssd, and got secondary one as well, problem is most of software, steam games are on c and space is tight.
so holidays coming soon thinking of getting at least another bigger drive 500gb or few 250gb ssds, is there any particular software to migrate OS and whole file system to new drive and would there be any complications with OS, running win 10 pro.

Id imagine id need to connect existing drive to another pc to do image,or is there a software to make image of system while its running and just flashing it into another drive.
    thx.

    You could try with clonezilla.

Alternatively, (I think the best option) is that you could just use the 100GB as your primary and the others as slaves. I think Steam will let you move your collection...

I've used this previously and worked great for me. Pretty sure you can use the software to copy the current OS drive. I remember doing it once before.

did some google up and seems theres EaseUS Todo Backup. soft that appears alot to make image, but guess just by moving steam and few bits and bobs would to the job fine as system runs like a clock and dont fancy full reinstall, thx for advise guys.

Be careful with download links for EASEus as it's a very popular hijacked software. Make sure to run scans after download.
