It seems people have been stuck on the big wheel in Galway for over an hour. It seized up just after the Christmas lights were turned on. A bit of craic for older people perhaps but I doubt any young children will be overly happy.

Would you be confident enough to step out of the cabin on to a fire ladder?

Panic, enjoy the view, or just settle down to await rescue?

The fire ladder sounds like a bit of craic to be homest.

Wouldn’t you be in some crank op if you were stuck up on it.

Cynic in me says a couple of them are getting advice off their solicitors while they're up there.

I'd have no bother. I've had more challenging experiences than that in my day. I'm not sure what being 'in some crank' means though.

Now in fairness who the feck would go up in one of those things in the freezing cold.

Theresa Mannion will be on their case!

I'd have been on it had it been near me but Galway's a bit far for me. I'd also never have thought to post from there had I been.

Ironically I'd be blaring Proud Mary on my phone.

Big wheel keeps on turning, Rollin Rollin Rollin on the River. :D

I imagine it now "your honour, my client is having nightmares, cannot go out in public anymore, has not been able to eat pizzas or pancakes since the incident, has had to give up on their lifelong dream of pursuing trigonometry"

They are all down now. Three hours for some of them. It was 'ratcheted' down cabin by cabin. I would have preferred to climb down the ladder an hour or two earlier, myself.

It was a major opportunity for some blasting of urine if one was in top cabin.

Is Eileen Magnier or Teresa Mannion up in the Cherry Picker yet?

Or Journey's Wheel in the Sky. John Lennon's Watching the Wheels wouldn't be appropriate as the wheel isn't moving.
or you could blast Ring of Fire at them to scare them.
