Eircom broadband stopped working on Friday evening [ireland wide?]

    Hi,

    In the west of Ireland here and all of a sudden the internet stops working. tried pining too. nothing... restarted the router = same problem.

    what is happening with this please?

    May help if you said what ISP your with or type of broadband?

    happened to me earlier as well.

    Lost both Eir FTTH and Eir Mobile. Eir mobile was first to come back, and when it did I could not access any Eir websites or MyEir facility. All was back after about 15 minutes.

    I'm in South Dublin and my speeds have gone down from +60Mbps to less than 10Mbps.

    That was a weird one this evening. ADSL here and like everyone else I lost internet but all the lights stayed green, the DSL and the internet etc... so didn't know what was going on. The error message that came back at me was dns issue. I'm having a lot of problems like this recently, over the last month or so than I've had in the last 4+ years. Frustrating
