Plant Identification

    Could anyone identify the plant in the attached pics please?
    I got it as a present about 4 months ago and it hasn't stopped flowering since.
    Someone suggested it was a Chinese Lantern Plant but the flowers on it are red and there is no fruit in the middle although shape of flower is very similar.
    Its about 18 Inches high.
    Would it be safe to leave it out over the winter?

    Looks like an Arbutalon - not frost hardy, lovely plant gets largish

    Very very easy to propagate. Cuttings in a bit of gritty compost on the windowsill will root in no time.
