Acne scarring buttocks

    Hi a bit embarrassing but I have some purple acne scarring on my butt which will not go away. Any suggestions?

    If it's scarred then probably no. Hydrocortisone maybe would reduce the inflammation/colour. Anyway its just your arse wouldn't worry about it at all :D

    Edit: post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation is what it sounds like. It'll go away in a year.

    Well if your scars are any type of pit i.e. icepick scars, boxcar scars, etc. you might get some benefit from using a dermaroller. They can help stimulate the scars to form new collagen/connective tissue which can help "fill the holes back in" so that you get nice smooth skin again.
