    Hi

    I recently bought a new laptop - this is thread regarding it from

    https://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2057808267&page=2

    I'm having an issue with Windows 10 - after login screen it goes black and take about 10 minutes to get into desktop.

    I've tried a few fixes from youtube such as regedit "EnableUlps set it to 0" - There is no such file as there is only 1 graphics card.

    When I looked in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{4d36e968-e325-11ce-bfc1-08002be10318}

    which is where the registry entry is meant to be, I see a load of files such as

    @BatmanAC.exe, @Dishonored.exe, @BF3.exe etc

    I haven't installed any games on this laptop - does this mean its a refurbished one that's been sold to me as new??

    Thanks

    Do you have a reinstall disk for windows and a license key?
    Perhaps a windows license sticker at the bottom of the machine?
    If there is, what version of Windows is the license key for?

    If you don't have the key, then perhaps use a program like https://www.magicaljellybean.com to find your keys. Save them off the laptop and re-install Windows.

    Edit: Just realised that it is a new laptop that you purchased.
    May be better to just do a full reinstall of the operating system.

    But first, check if there newer display drivers available.
    or go to the manufacturer's website, support section and download all the drivers for your machine and re-install

    Or you could use something like driver talent http://download.cnet.com/Driver-Talent/3000-2094_4-76219521.html
