It might be worth trying contacting Glen Dimplex, who own Roberts.

Have you tried running it on batteries (if you are using mains adaptor) ? just in case the fault is with the mains adaptor - perhaps with a fault resulting in being unable to supply enough current to run the set.

Not a bad suggestion! Definitely worth trying.

I tried to get a dreamtime repaired a couple of years ago, it was only about 3 years old. I was told the only way was to send it to the UK, at my own expense. It was more than the half the clock's cost to do that so I reluctantly binned it. There wasn't much in the way of decent alarm clocks out there to replace it with either. Sales people in shops had an attitude of "why didn't I just use my phone".

My 202 keeps turning on by itself and the clock resets to 00:00 too, making it fairly useless as an alarm. Have had it for almost 9 years. Will book it in for repair.
